Turnkey Services

Our service scope covers planning, installation, commissioning and production support. These pages break down the practical services that support a poultry project from concept to operation.

From first site visit to working poultry house

Turnkey work starts with the basics: what the site can carry, how the houses will be arranged, where water and power will come from, and how birds and staff will move through the property. We handle the practical decisions early so the project is easier to build, easier to run and less likely to stall once equipment arrives.

For growers in Gauteng, Mpumalanga, Limpopo, North West, the Free State and KwaZulu-Natal, that usually means looking at access roads, municipal requirements, drainage, wind exposure and load-shedding planning before any steel or cage equipment is ordered. A good start saves time later, and it avoids expensive changes once construction is underway.

Site planning that fits the farm and the budget

Every poultry unit has different constraints. A small layer unit near Boksburg will not be planned the same way as a larger project outside Polokwane or Nelspruit. We assess the site and match the equipment package to the intended bird numbers, staffing level and production goals.

  • Site review and layout guidance
  • House positioning and flow planning
  • Water, power and backup considerations
  • Space allowance for stores, egg handling or a processing room
  • Phasing for future expansion

The aim is simple: avoid crowding the site and keep the daily work practical for the team on the ground. That matters when you are running with limited labour or dealing with power interruptions, because the layout has to support the operation even on a difficult day.

Equipment selection for laying, hatching and brooding

We supply agriculture and industry equipment for a range of poultry applications, including laying-hen cages, incubators, brooders, feeders and drinkers. The right choice depends on the project type, target output and how the house will be managed. A project for egg production has different needs to a hatchery or a rearing unit, and the equipment should be selected with that in mind.

Our team talks through the trade-offs in plain terms. Capacity, cleaning, labour input, ventilation and spare parts all matter, because equipment must suit local conditions as well as the production plan. In hotter inland areas or coastal humidity, the wrong setup can create avoidable strain on birds and staff alike.

  • Laying-hen cage systems
  • Incubators and brooders
  • Feeding and drinking lines
  • Abattoir equipment and processing room items

Installation supervision and commissioning

Once equipment is on site, correct installation is critical. Our role is to supervise the setup, check alignment and confirm that the system is ready to operate as intended. This includes practical checks on fixings, water flow, electrical points and house fitout details that can affect production from day one.

Commissioning is where the project moves from building work to live operation. We test the equipment, confirm working settings and help the team understand what must be monitored during the first runs. A few small adjustments at this stage can prevent bigger issues later, especially where power supply is irregular or where an installer has had to work around tight site conditions.

Training, maintenance and day-to-day production support

A project only performs well if the people using it know the equipment and the routine behind it. We provide operator training and practical support for farm teams, supervisors and managers. That includes cleaning routines, basic fault finding, safe handling and the daily checks that keep birds comfortable and systems working.

  • Operator training on site
  • Maintenance programmes
  • Spare parts supply
  • Service call support and fault response
  • Refresher training as the flock grows or staff change

For many farms, support after handover is just as important as the supply itself. Spare parts, clear maintenance intervals and simple troubleshooting save time and keep the birds under better control.

Processing room fitout and expansion upgrades

Some clients need more than a poultry house. We also assist with processing room fitout and planned expansion upgrades, whether the site is adding capacity, improving hygiene flow or adjusting the operation to meet local requirements. The work can include equipment placement, utility planning and practical improvements that make the next stage easier to manage.

Expansion should be done with the future in mind, not as a quick patch. If a site in Gauteng is adding another house, or a project in the Free State is shifting from small scale production to a fuller commercial setup, we look at how the new work will affect water demand, power load and staff movement. That kind of planning avoids rework and keeps the operation workable as it grows.

Questions we get asked

What does turnkey service include on a poultry project?

It usually includes site planning, equipment selection, house layouts, installation supervision, commissioning, training, maintenance support and spares supply. Where needed, we also handle processing room fitout and expansion upgrades.

Do you only work in Gauteng?

No. Our head office is in Jet Park, Boksburg, and we support projects across South Africa, including Gauteng, Mpumalanga, Limpopo, North West, the Free State and KwaZulu-Natal.

Can you help with a project that will grow in stages?

Yes. Many poultry projects are set up in phases. We can plan the first stage so later houses, extra equipment or processing space can be added without disrupting the existing operation.
